Environmental Resources Division (ERD) Building Project
The Environmental Resources Division (ERD) Headquarters Building, in the vicinity of the Southwest Water Reclamation Facility, will provide administrative offices and laboratory facilities for the City's Environmental Resources Division staff.
This building is to be a two story concrete block building enclosing approximately 14,000 SF on two floors. Exterior finished in stucco and split-faced concrete block with a standing-seam steel roof. Exterior windows and doors to be protected by electrically operated roll-down storm shutters
The interior is to be fitted out to a standard commercial office finish, and an environmental laboratory, complete with fire suppression and security systems. Electrical back-up system will be provided by a diesel generator and a 15KW Un-interruptible Power Supply for the lab equipment. Hydraulic, two story, elevator is also required. Construction is scheduled to begin in the Spring of 2009.
