North Central Loop and SW 4th Terrace - Utility Extension
Purpose:The purpose of this project is to complete the North Central potable and raw water transmission main loop in North Cape Coral. The work includes the provision of approximately 16 miles of potable and raw water main to connect to the existing utility infrastructure. This project also includes a utility extension project to SW 4th Terrace to provide sanitary sewer, force main and irrigation main along with associated service connections.
Project Statistics:
Key statistics for the project are approximated as follows: -
- 16.5 miles of new piping (not including services)
consisting of: -
- 8.8 miles of new potable water transmission main piping (36-24 inch)
- 3.8 miles of new raw water transmission main piping (36-20 inch)
- 1.4 miles of new stub outs for future potable water distribution main piping (18-8 inch)
- 1.1 miles of new irrigation main piping (12-6 inch)
- 2213 LF of new force main piping (16 inch)
- 2212 LF of new Waste Activated Sludge (WAS) main piping (6 inch)
- 1.1 miles of new gravity sewer (6-20 ft deep)
- 1294 LF of new storm drain piping (24-15 inch)
- 1.2 miles of new roads.
- 15 new sewer manholes
- 909 new land parcel service connections of potable
water, irrigation and sewer connection.
