Road Watch Noteworthy News

Due to heavy rain activity, SW 6th Ave from SW 13th St south to SW 13th Ter will be closed to all traffic. As soon as crews can get this road in a good, passable condition, it will be reopened to traffic. Due to the current weather forecast, we do not anticipate this to occur before Friday or Saturday of this week, if not later.

SW 26th St from SW 2nd Pl west to SW 4th Pl will be closed (local traffic only) beginning 7/14/08 for approximately 2-3 weeks.

Skyline Blvd between Trafalgar Pkwy and SW 21st St will be reduced to 2 lanes on the southbound side starting Friday, June 20th for approx. 6 weeks.

Trafalgar Pkwy between Santa Barbara Pl west to SW 5th Ave is reduced to two-way opposing traffic on the southern lanes starting 7/15/08 for approx. 1 month.

What is the Utilities Extension program?

This is the City's Utilities Master Plan that will extend collection and distribution systems to several areas presently served by shallow wells and septic systems.

Which Utility Systems are being constructed?

The Potable (Drinkable) Water, Secondary (Reuse) Water and Gravity Sewer.

MWH Constructors, KBR and their team of local and national subcontractors.
